Laundry Day is starting a little late today because I may or may not have lost my shirt at the casino last night. More on that in a future newsletter.
On Monday, the Mets celebrated St Patrick’s Day in style. The team played a pair of home and away split squad games, which were not broadcast on television, so you may have missed them. The lucky lids were a vibrant green, accented with orange, and adorned with shamrocks, for the occasion. To maintain accurate statistic records, I’ve added them to the ongoing Laundry Lines segment below. These caps proved to be pretty popular, as only two sizes are currently in stock.
