Welcome back to Mets Laundry! Wow man, that’s a gnarly mustard stain on your shirt… I hope that comes out.
We’re coming up on the Mid-Summer Classic, so let’s take a look at how our Mets are performing in each of their uniform combos. For a different perspective, we’ve also got a new graphic displaying the records for each of the team’s caps (alternates and one-offs included). Once again, our graphics come from Ian (@Birdhausart). He’s been pumping out some great work on Instagram, so show him some love.
Congratulations to Francisco Lindor on making his first All-Star Game as a New York Met. It shouldn’t have taken this long, but All-Star Game voting is stupid, so here we are. Shout out to Pete Alonso and Edwin Diaz on their selections as All-Star Game reserves. Again, Pete should be a starter, but isn’t, because All-Star Game voting is stupid.
Pitching prospect Jonah Tong and Outfielder Carson Benge, both from the AA-Binghamton Rumble Ponies, will be representing the New York Mets in the 2025 All-Star Futures Game.
Good luck to all our guys, I hope you put on a show in Atlanta.
